CASE STUDY DESCRIPTION:

Get potential TLC viewers to tune in for the debut of Miami Ink, a new show about Miami tattoo artists.

  • The solution: Hold a live  preview event including screenings of the show, appearances by its cast, and a “human art gallery” featuring local tattoo artists and their clientele, explaining the stories behind their tattoos, much like the show.
  • Over 120,000 interactive preview minidisks were handed out .  Plus radio merchandising, e-blasts and a trip to the set sweepstakes.
  • It all came together to drive record ratings for the premiere!
