Bristol Bags was a manufacturer of bank bags — the heavy-duty, secure and damage resistant kind we trust to transport our money in, from bank to bank.

  • With excess inventory on hand, they thought of entering the consumer market, applying their expertise to developing incredibly durable messenger bags.
  • Our counsel?  Bring actual bike messengers into the design and development process — which would lend instant credibility to the finished product.
  • We conducted a series of focus groups with these “ultimate authorities” on messenger bag toughness, then used their input in helping to design the actual bags and prototypes
  • We developed a masterbrand – ‘Strete‘ — and product line branding that was hip, resonant and memorable
