It was up to me and the team at The Regan Group to support release of Despicable Me 2 on Blu-Ray™ and get consumers excited and engaged in picking up their own copy, while driving sales of Sun-Maid product.
- We negotiated the tie-in between Universal and Sun-Maid
- We built and administrated a microsite-and-mobile sweepstakes where consumers could enter for the chance to win one Grand Prize and 100 First Prizes
- They could also take advantage of a $3.00 mail-in rebate offer tied to purchase of Sun-Maid Raisin Mini-Snacks
- The Grand Prize awarded one winner a trip for 4 to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando
- Flight and hotel were included
- Admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure Orlando, and Wet ‘n Wild
- The First Prize? Winners got one of 100 Despicable Me 2 DVD Combo Packs
- People loved the promotion, with 478,890 total entries!
- And Grand Prize winner Tiffany Banks “was so happy that I started crying” when she got the good news
